As a woman (and a foodie) I have many times the feeling of eating something sweet or just in general, eat something. During winter it is even worse, it is like I want to stock a good layer of fat so that I wont get cold during winter. Sounds familiar, oh yes, bears for example also do this. Why am I not a bear, hibernating during winter doesn't look that bad.
But, too bad we aren't, instead our busy schedule goes further and it gets colder. So, how can we cope up with these urges?
I'm not only speaking to the women here, also men have these food urges sometimes. What you say lads? A juicy burger or french fries?
Well... POSITIVE NEWS! If you don't plan a cheat day then you'll never keep motivated for your diet (even not if you want to gain weight). We always take our cheat day during the weekend, Saturday or Sunday. Mostly because your day looks different then. You don't have to go to work, you're meeting up with friends or family... So it is easier to cheat during the weekend.
However don't mistake a cheat day with binge eating. Eat still healthy, but it doesn't matter if your portion is a little bigger or if you have that portion of fries you've been wanting since long time.
Can't hold it during the week as well? Grab a healthy snack, a piece of fruit or veggie or cup of soup, be creative but keep it healthy.
